Yellowstone Winter 2026

In July of 2025 we moved to Rigby, Idaho! No longer do we have to drive two days to get to Yellowstone!

This gallery highlights our first winter trip since becoming Idahoans! At first, the park looked more like April than February, but we got blizzard like conditions midweek and things became more like February.

We did see wolves, but at great distance. Approximately two miles! However, I was able to get some shots and heavily crop them that actually worked, thanks to a very stable atmosphere!

Other subjects were kind enough to fill in for the lack of wolves. There's always something to see in Yellowstone!
